Metallica’s 3D film to be released

It seems that the long wait is finally over. Recently, the heavy metal band Metallica revealed the release date of their 3D film. They announced that the film will be released on 9th August, 2013.

The film has been named Metallica Through The Never and it has been directed by Nimrod Antal, the well known Hungarian director. He has directed top Hollywood movies such as Predators and Armored. This new Metallica has been shot in Canada’s Vancouver in August 2012. Metallica Through The Never will be distributed by Picturehouse, an independent film marketing house.

Bob Berney, the chief executive officer of Picturehouse, told that Nimrod Antal and the band have made a movie that captures the spirit of the band as well as their millions of loyals. This is an entertaining genre movie with a concert inside it, a fun ride featuring an exciting young actor, Dane DeHaan. This is really a cool project to reboot Picturehouse with.

A leading gossip website reported that Dane DeHaan would play the role of a band crew who is sent out on a mission when the band is playing a live set in the middle of sold out pack.

Lars Ulrich, the Metallica drummer, told that Metallica’s way of doing things is to jump into unexplored endeavors with no safety net at all. Putting this film together for the last few years has been a wild ride for them, and they have definitely done their share of flying without a net.
