The 2004 documentary named ‘Metallica: Some Kind of Monster’ is returning as a digital revival and it is all set to release later in November featuring sequences which have never been experienced earlier. The docu feature was directed by Joe Berlinger and Bruce Sinofsky as an extension of the band’s 2003 album ‘St. Anger’ that led the group right up to the point of disintegration.The documentary followed the group through the 3 most troublesome years of their career, in which they dealt with addiction, fan backlash, lineup changes, personal turmoil as well as the near disintegration of the band during the making of ‘St. Anger’ album, said a Universal Music statement.The movie was actually unveiled in the year 2004 and won Independent Spirit Award for top docu feature. The film is being re-edited to adjust to double DVD as well as Blu-Ray DVD formats. The brand new release carries a bonus feature – “Metallica: The Monster Lives,” which is a twenty five minute follow-up segment shot at Toronto International Film Festival 2013 during the band’s second film’s premier “Metallica Through The Never.”The album of the band have stayed as one of the best sellers over the last twenty years, in spite of their releasing brand new works only at long breaks. The band released with Lulu, an experimental album in the year 2011, after Death Magnetic in the year 2008.
